About Jordan: Jordan is an Arab nation run by king Abdallah II of Jordan. It's legal system is a combination of French, British, Common and Islamic law. About the people: Jordan according to, The World Factbook  has a population of about 8,185,384 million people with the majority of the people living right outside the capitol city of Amman. Although Arabic is the official language, people do speak english as well. 97.2% of the people are Muslim, 2.2% are Christian and other.
